Oh the little Ears

Elliana had a rough couple of nights, so away to the doctors she went. The good news is that the tube that was blocked is no longer blocked, but the bad news is that she has an ear infection. She already is sleeping better and generally in a better mood since starting her meds. She does love medicine and always asks for more.

Since we had Aunt Amber and Aunt Shannon here, Elliana has started some new tricks. Eila and Josiah are always good teachers. Elliana takes a chair and pushes it in circles around the island in the kitchen. She loves to carry stools around and leave them all over. Playing with playdoh is fun now too. She started to dance a little bit more too. She is not that good yet, but you just wait.

Andy is going good. He does have a small cold, but with Elliana kissing him and coughing on his face, it was bound to happen. He loves to have someone sit and talk to him face to face. He will give wonderful smiles to anyone who will entertain. He is not a great sleeper, but he is improving. Last night was his best ever!

One Month, well one day less

Andrew went in for his one month checkup today. He is still gaining and growing rapidly. He is 10 pounds (75%) and 21.25 inches long. That is just about the same at Elliana at her one month. He did a great job of letting the doctor check everything. Elliana, on the other hand, was not pleased to be there one bit. She did not want the smiley face sticker and she did not like anyone touching Andy. I am looking forward to her ear appointment later today:) She has her 3 month tube/ear checkup.

After a few days of being a picky eater, Elliana seems to be back on track. Hopefully, anyways. She is talking lots, unless someone else is around, and loves to help Andy with his pacifier and burping. The warmer weather has been wonderful. She loves to go on walks and play outside.

Update: Elliana's tubes are useless. Both ears have fluid, but no infection yet. One is totally blocked. But on the up side, she did great at the doctors.
