Two Weeks and 18 Months

Today Andrew is two weeks old. Believe it or not he now weighs in at 8 pounds 9 ounces! He is quite a growing boy. He is eating and sleep well, for the most part. He is not afraid of his big sister, but he should be. There is not a whole lot to update besides that.

Elliana is 24 pounds (50%) and 30.5 inches (20%) tall. She is talking more and more- and we can understand more of what she is saying. She likes to sit on the toilet, but has not actually gone for real yet. Elliana really likes to see where Andy is at all times. She has a stool that she will carry back and forth from his bed to his changing table. She does try to poke his head and take his pacifier. Nursing is confusing to her, but she is getting used to it. Her favorite game is playing pretend in the kitchen. After dinner she loves to play ring around the rosy with Chris, which can last for a very long time.

Andrew Christopher Walls

Andy was born on Feb. 14 at 3:19 in the morning. We are doing great. He is very handsome, as you can see in the photo. He was 7 pounds 8 ounces and 19 inches long. We will add more pictures later.

Work in Progress

We are having the baby's room painted by a friend. Here is the work that is done so far. In a few weeks I will post the final work. So far so good:)

No news on the baby yet. I went to the doctors today, she still does not think I will make it through the week, but that is what she thought a week and a half ago.

Elliana is getting more ready. She loves to go into his room every day and look at his bed and painting. She can say barn and tractor when she wants. She is still getting her teeth (it is taking a couple of months for these things to come all the way through). Four more on the bottom and two on the top is what I have seen.

Eating disorder??

Today Elliana ate:
Breakfast-
8 oz of milk, small bowl of Kix cereal, 2 large pancakes
Snack-
2 bowls of grapes
Lunch-
bowl of soup, crackers
Snack-
pudding, cheerios, graham crackers
Dinner-
one piece of hamburger pie, piece of bread, whole orange, more grapes, and butternut squash.
This is all before 7:00 pm.
The doctor said her eating would slow down when she started to walk, if this is slowing down we need to rework our food budget for this kid!!
