Award Winning Pie
This weekend we went to a pie baking contest. Chris made an apple pie, including making the crust. Chris' pie tasted so good that it won first place. He did a great job!

Yesterday I had my blood sugar test. I passed so now I do not need to do the 3 hour test like I did with Elliana. I am very glad about that. Elliana's brother is growing and is measuring slightly big- 27 weeks when I am 26 weeks. He is very active and kicked the nurse several times while trying to hear his heart beat. We do not have a name yet- just so you don't have to ask.:)
Elliana is learning to say words again. She had dropped the words she could say, but is starting to use them again- dog, duck, dad, more. She is also singing a lot more. Mostly, I would say humming. Her new favorite foods are chocolate and ketchup. Not together, of course; although I would not be surprised if she would eat that.
Elliana is getting better at going down the stair backwards, but stops to do the splits after a couple steps. I am not sure why she does this.
This weekend we went to see Chris' parents in Chicago. It was a great weekend filled with fun and food. Elliana had a great time visiting and playing. We went to the museum and explored many interesting things. We ate tons of food and walked a lot. Elliana gave plenty of hugs and kisses to get candy and stay up late. She can be pretty convincing with her little sad face and eyes... I can not think of a funny story to add, but was a long drive and it is late so maybe next time.
