Elliana thinks she is pretty cute. She likes to wave and say hi to herself. She even left her hand prints on the mirror to show herself. Elliana is not doing too much more than last week, but she is climbing the stair very well. She can not go down...she just keeps walking and expects the ground to level out for her. Not too worry she has not fallen down any stairs. I tested her methods on one very short step.
Elliana turned one year old yesterday. She alreday had a birthday party in Michigan a few weeks ago and will have another one in Co. in another few weeks. So we only had a small celebration here. We went to a friends for dinner and cookies. Elliana had a great time and smiled huge every time someone sang happy birthday. Thank you to those who called. She loved it!
Elliana weighed in at 19.6 pounds (30%) and 28 and 1/4 inches tall (40%). So she will continue to face backwards in her car seat for a little while longer. She does not mind it in the truck so we may keep her that way for a while.
She is walking very well and talking more and more. I have no idea what she is saying or if she knows what she is saying. She does say Dad very well and Bob (that's mom). She is not good at the m sounds.
Elliana thinks she is a big girl now too. She follows the older kids around and copies whatever they do. Sometimes that leads her into trouble, but mostly fun times.
