Blaa Ba Blaa

Blaa Ba Ba Ba is one of Elliana's new favorite sayings. She says it constantly, mixed in with the occational RRRR like lion and the G sound. Chris taught her to laugh after a sneeze, which is does a lot of too (sneezing and laughing).

Elliana loves the warm weather because she can wear shorts and dresses. She loves to rub her fingers on her chubby legs and have her toes feel the wind. Not to mention, she can suck on her toes better without the socks.

We have been on many walks this weekend and she seems to enjoy them. We even met Chris for lunch today and she enjoyed playing in the park.

Happy Pi Day

That's right, it's pi day. 3.14 = March 14. I may not be teaching math anymore, but that does not mean that I have to forget about the fun math days!

By the way, I think I just saw a teeth start to pop up. But it is hard to see when Elliana's mouth bites everything close to her. I will let you know soon!

The Visit

Elliana is six months and getting older each day. She is a little over 16 pounds and about 26 inches long. She has started on oatmeal in the evenings and loves every opportunity to eat with a spoon! She still takes three naps and eats six times a day. So if I can fit in six feedings during the day, she will sleep from 8 pm to 6 am. I will work on dropping a feeding next week and see if she will keep letting me sleep. -That is what it is about, me sleeping.

Last week Grandma M. was able to spend an entire week here in Cincinnati. Elliana enjoyed every minute of it. She laughed and played to her heart's content! I was able to go to the store or a friend's without working around Elliana's naps. It was a good time by all.

This week we are back to running around. She did great at the YMCA this morning. (She did not love it for a few weeks.) She played and watched the other children and I worked off the Girl Scout cookies. We even made it up to GE to have lunch with Chris, who forgot his wallet and lunch this morning. The grocery store is next, but Elliana needs a much needed nap, which she is happily doing now. So I am off to clean up the kitchen and make my grocery list.
