The Drugs

Elliana had a wonderful Thanksgiving with tons of family. She was able to meet her Aunt Ursula for the first time and play with cousins on both sides of the family. The reason this entry is called "The Drugs" is because that is what it seems like she was on when we leave Michigan. She cried most of the 4 hour drive back and then SCREAMED most of the afternoon on Sunday. She felt that all waking and sleeping should be done while snuggling up to a nice warm body. Well, that does not work when we are in the car or unpacking... I think the drugs are starting to wear off now. She slept great and has taken a good long nap this morning. I was able to put up the Christmas decorations and unpack her 3-6 months cloths during this time!

Three Months

Elliana will be three months on November 22. Time sure does go very fast. She is 13 pounds now. She finally met Aunt Amber last weekend and had a grand time! She enjoyed shopping and playing with her cousins and Aunts. We got to see Santa come into town on a helicopter! (Sort of- I had locked my keys in the car so we will delayed.) I enjoyed a day of pampering with my sisters and mom while Chris' parents were Elliana's first babysitters and from what I hear, she was a jem!

During the Thanksgiving holiday, Elliana will meet her Aunt Ursula. This is her last Aunt to meet. She is very excited!

Chick-fil-a

Elliana and I camped out at the Grand Openning of Chick-Fil-A last night to receive the great prize of Chick-fil-a for a year! A friend brought a Camper for Elliana and her friend, Betsy. Both girls did wonderful for not being in their beds. Elliana was the youngest camper. It was a frigid night with little sleep, but at least we were not in a tent! We were number 78 out of 100. We arrived at 6:00 the night before the openning and set up our tent (we were not sure if the Camper would make it). I will post a picture next week:)
