Elliana had her one month check-up today. She pooped on the scale, spit-up on the nurse, and peed on the bed. And this all within two minutes of each other:)
She is exactly 10 pounds, 21.5 inches (back to her birth length), and her head in 14.5. She is doing great and all are very proud of her.
Also, Elliana made her first trip to Michigan to see her grandparents and meet more family. She took everything in stride. We will be posting several of these pictures this week.
Elliana is now four weeks old! She tried her first bottle, but it did not go over well at all. Maybe another day. She is smiling a lot more now. There is not much to update since most of what she does is just look cute.
Elliana is growing very fast. I can hardly keep up with her. She can no longer be swaddled in a receiving blanket. Her arms pop out in about two seconds and her feet stick out the end! She is gaining some well defined cubbiness as you can see in some of the pictures. Overall, she is still very happy and easy going. She likes to sleep in her crib more than anywhere else. I know this because she will fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer:)
Another one of Elliana likes is to get baths and have the water run down her cheeks! It is very sweet.
Elliana is two weeks today. She is still doing great and trying new things every day. Today she tried her BabyBajorn and loved it:) Except that it put her right to sleep so she didn't get to enjoy it very long.
She has adjusted to the family's sleeping habits very well too. She stays up with Dad until about 11, eats and then sleeps until about 4, eats and finally wakes at 8:30 for another good time of eating. She has kept this pattern for the last 4 nights.
